These terms apply to the DotBeads app and the dotbeads.app website. By using them, you agree to these terms.
The app
DotBeads turns a picture into a bead-weaving pattern. You may use it for personal craft purposes. DotBeads is published by Anton Baranov, Quebec, Canada.
DotBeads Pro
Pro is a one-time purchase through the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android). It unlocks the Fill, Rectangle, Replace a colour everywhere, Beading mode, Ruler and guide-lines tools, and the import and export of patterns. It is not a subscription and does not renew. Payment, refunds and receipts are handled by Apple or Google under their terms. You can restore a past purchase with the same Apple ID or Google account from the app's Settings.
Your pictures and patterns
Your pictures and patterns belong to you and stay on your device. You are responsible for having the right to use any picture you turn into a pattern.
Bead colours and trademarks
Bead colour data comes from craft-color-codes by MakeBead (code MIT, data CC BY 4.0). Delica colours were measured from product photos, so shades on screen are approximate and may differ from the real beads: use the colour to choose and the code to buy. Miyuki is a trademark of its owner. DotBeads is independent, is compatible with Miyuki Delica beads and is not affiliated with Miyuki.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Bead counts, charts and instructions are a guide: check them against your own materials, and buy a margin of extra beads. To the extent allowed by law, the publisher is not liable for losses arising from its use. Because your data is stored only on your device, back up your phone and export patterns you care about: deleting the app or losing the device erases your library.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the app means you accept the update.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
